  • 19-Year-Old From Hawaii Faces Up To 10 Years Behind Bars For Stealing Pet Pig and Killing It To Cheat In $1K Hunting Contest

19-Year-Old From Hawaii Faces Up To 10 Years Behind Bars For Stealing Pet Pig and Killing It To Cheat In $1K Hunting Contest

A Hawaiian teen could face up to 10 years behind bars for stealing a woman’s pet pig and killing it to win a $1,000 hunting contest. 19-year-old Jayden Jarnesky-Magana and his 20-year-old accomplice, Krys Ryan Saito-Carino, took the pig named “Eddie” from Sarah Haynes’ farm and filmed a fake hunting video, which showed their dogs attacking the pig. However, contest organizers became suspicious when they noticed Eddie was neutered and heavier than typical wild pigs, per the New York Post

The woman told KHON2, “Nobody believed him.”

    How He Got Caught

Eddie was too heavy for the men to carry from their truck to the scale. Yet, they still took home the $1,000 prize for the biggest pig. In August, Jarnesky-Magana and Saito-Carino were apprehended for animal cruelty after an investigation. Jarnesky-Magana changed his plea to no contest and will be sentenced soon. Saito-Carino is expected to do the same. Haynes is holding a rally to raise awareness about animal cruelty.

“Eddie was super friendly.. Little kids could hug him, you know, he’d sit. You could get him to bark like a dog. I mean, he was just the most adorable, sweet, gentle soul,” Haynes said.

She adopted the pig a few years back and took him to her Kitty Charm Farm in Haiku after he was discovered wandering in Kihei with scars and rope burns. It is believed he was used to train hunting dog.

Five NJ Middle School Staffers Terminated After Non-Verbal Autistic Girl Was Tied Up With Tape Over Her Mouth In Classroom

Five school staffers in New Jersey were fired after an 8-year-old girl with autism was taped up in her classroom. The girl’s mother, told News 12 New Jersey that her daughter was restrained at Brackman Middle School in Barnegat, where she attends a special program, according to PEOPLE

The girl’s mother, Kasi Spinelli, informed News 12, “A resource officer from the school called me and said my daughter’s wrists were bound together by tape … Another half hour went by, and the resource officer called me back and said it was also on her mouth.”

Spinelli mentioned that she received photos of her non-verbal daughter taped up in various outfits, indicating the incidents occurred on multiple days. Barnegat’s school superintendent, Brian Latwis, informed PEOPLE that the Board of Education agreed to fire one teacher and four paraprofessionals, all unnamed, involved in this situation.

News 12 reported that Barnegat officials discovered no crime; however, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office says the investigation is ongoing.

In a YouTube video from Spinelli’s attorneys, the mother shared her daughter’s experience, saying the girl was taped up with painter’s tape. “She can’t come home and tell me about her day,” Spinelli explained. Due to her child being non-verbal, Spinelli took her to the emergency room for testing for possible sexual abuse.

  • Father Charged With The Murder of His 12-Year-Old Daughter 2 Years After Her Missing, Officials Say

Father Charged With The Murder of His 12-Year-Old Daughter 2 Years After Her Missing, Officials Say

Almost two years after his daughter went missing, a Florida father has been charged with her murder. On March 11, the Tallahassee Police Department announced that 36-year-old Andrew Wiley was arrested for second-degree murder related to the death of his 12-year-old daughter, Lori Paige, per PEOPLE

The announcement followed a thorough 22-month investigation into the pre-teen’s disappearance. Officials stated that Wiley reported his daughter missing back on June 3, 2023. He claimed that Lori left home with her backpack overnight while he was working.

On April 5, her remains were located in a remote, brushy area of Thomas County, Georgia, after digital evidence pointed investigators there. Earlier searches in 2024 produced no results until a burn cleared the brush. In March 2024, inconsistencies in Wiley’s statements made him a suspect in the case and “new information about his relationship with Lori” came about.

The Tallahassee Police Department noted that they started to notice inconsistencies in Wiley’s story while following “hundreds of leads across state lines” during the summer of 2023 and into early 2024.

Lawrence Revell, TPD Chief said, “I told you two years ago we would never give up. I told you two years ago we would find Lori and we would bring her home.”

“I told you two years ago that we would find who did this and we would arrest them and bring them to justice. And today, I stand before you to tell you we have done just that,” he continued.

“Lori deserved a safe home and a full life. While today’s arrest will never bring her back, it does bring us one step closer to justice,” said the Chief.

  • Vice Principal Charged and Placed On Leave After Reportedly Instructing 13-Year-Old Student To ‘Rub Her Feet Like He Loved Her’

Vice Principal Charged and Placed On Leave After Reportedly Instructing 13-Year-Old Student To ‘Rub Her Feet Like He Loved Her’

A vice principal in Florida was apprehended for making a 13-year-old student rub her feet, claiming it would help him for his future girlfriend. 53-year-old Dr. Keiva Lark was disciplining the boy for misbehavior when the incident occurred in her office at Lake Marion Creek Middle School. According to the New York Post, the woman allegedly position her feet on his lap and instructed him to rub her feet “since he didn’t have anything better to do with his hands.”

The woman was heard criticizing the boy for not rubbing her feet correctly and demonstrating her desired massage technique by touching his arm and shoulder, officials said.

Witnesses reported that Lark told the boy to “rub her feet like he loved her” and claimed it was to teach him about foreplay. She later admitted to a co-worker that she had “crossed the line.” The principal later informed officials, who began an investigation. Reports also mentioned that she reportedly nicknamed the student “sexy chocolate.” The victim told officials that she called him the name while passing him in the hallway.

Grady Judd, Polk County Sheriff, said, “Dr. Lark initially told detectives that this was only a joke, and that she was just trying to humble the victim. It’s completely inappropriate for a 53-year old woman to act and talk like this to a middle school boy. It’s even worse given that this was an assistant principal and her student.”

During an interview with officials, Lark admitted she acted inappropriately; however, denied making any indecent comments to the boy. She faces charges of lewd conduct and has been placed on administrative leave.

Illegal Immigrant Arrested After Killing His Daughter Over Non-Stop Crying

Prosecutors claim Marlon Rabanales-Pretzantzin, a 20-year-old illegal immigrant, fatally beat his 2-month-old because she refused to stop crying. He pleaded not guilty in court. The baby, Liseyda, suffered multiple injuries, including broken ribs and severe hemorrhaging, during the incident on March 7 while he was alone with his children, per the New York Post. Anne Donnelly, the Nassau County DA, told reporters, “In the end, he couldn’t take it anymore.”

Rabanales-Pretzantzin reportedly slapped his crying daughter in the face several times, punched her in the stomach, and shook her violently. He then threw her onto the bed, pressing his fists into her body, which ultimately led to her demise. He later took her to a neighbor, who contacted first responders.

Officials were informed that Liseyda choked on formula; however, Rabanales-Pretzantzin later changed his story, claiming he fell asleep with her and she fell from the bed. Officials presented evidence, leading him to confess. An autopsy showed Liseyda had healing rib fractures, indicating prior abuse, according to the DA.

Rabanales-Pretzantzin’s other child, a 14-month-old present during the incident, showed no signs of abuse and is now with their mother. Prosecutor Donnelly mentioned that he is an illegal immigrant from #Guatemala. Rabanales-Pretzantzin is held without bail and will appear in court on May 6.
