    Teen Takes Her Life After Video Circulates Of Girls Beating Her Up, Dad Says

    Parents are calling out a New Jersey high school after their daughter tragically took her life after a video surfaced of the teen being viciously attacked by multiple students in the school’s hallway, NY Post reported. 

    Adriana Kuch, 14, was found dead in her home two days after she was assaulted, police say. 

    Adriana attended Central Regional High School in Berkeley Township and was reportedly being bullied for a

    “long time”

    before the Feb. 1st attack. In a clip shared by NY Post, several students are seen punching, kicking, and pulling Adriana’s hair. In one part of the video, you can hear one of the attackers say,

    “That’s what you get, you stupid a— b—!”

    Michael Kuch, Adriana’s father, said he’s outraged by the school’s response to the assault and feels that his daughter was unprotected.

    “My daughter actually blacks out and they don’t call an ambulance, they take her to the nurse’s office,”

    Kuch told ABC 7, adding Adriana had

    “never been in a fight before, she’s 98 pounds, 5-2 and she loves everybody.”

    He later criticized the school’s policy telling NBC New York,

    “A kid is assaulted with a weapon and their policy is not to call the police or file a report.”

    Schools Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides said police were not called because they handle altercations in-house.

    “We normally just suspend. If a parent wants to press charges, they can with the police,”

    he told the outlet, adding,

    “We’re not going to double-whammy a kid where they are suspended and then police charges as well.”

    Kuch said his daughter was humiliated by the video. “If the school contacted the police and filed a report and conducted an investigation, these videos could have been discovered immediately,” he wrote.

    Three girls were charged with third-degree felony assault and a fourth was charged with disorderly conduct, according to the local news outlet.

    Critics Call Disney’s The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder ‘Anti-White’ For The ‘Slaves Built This Country’ Episode

    It looks like the recent episode of Disney‘s The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder where they highlighted,

    “slavery, racism, reparations, prison reform, and White guilt,”

    in America is stirring up controversy with watchers urging people to boycott the animated series. 

    The new episode comes as we are in Black History Month. In the scene, the group of kids, (Penny Proud, Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez, Sticky Webb, ‘Zoey’ Howzer, and other newly introduced characters) delivered a spoken word poetry performance in front of their school addressing racism in America. 

    “This country was built on slavery, which means slaves built this country,”

    said the group of kids.

    “The descendants of slaves continue to build it, slaves built this country, and we the descendants of slaves in America, have earned reparations for their suffering and continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in a systemic prejudice, racism, and White supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for… We had Tubman, Turner, Frederick D, then they say Lincoln freed the slaves, but slaves were men and women, and only we can free ourselves…Emancipation is not freedom. Jim Crow, segregation, redlining, public schools feeding private prisons where we become slaves again.

    The episode sparked outrage on social media from viewers who believed the show was spreading an

    “anti-white”

    and

    “woke”

    agenda. Some even demanded the show be boycotted. One Twitter user wrote,

    “I’m sick of WOKE A** Disney and the radical left for pushing racism against whites.”

    However, one user pointed out that even in the original series of The Proud Family they spoke about black issues.

    “The Proud Family BEEN ‘woke’ don’t act like it’s a new thing.” 

    Bruce. W. Smith, the creator/producer of The Proud Family went on the Karen Hunter show in March 2022 where he talked about the vision for the new reboot and the importance of conveying

    “the scope of blackness”

    on the tv screen.

    “I have two black women directors…and that’s rare… I’m bringing people of color on board to inform every process along the way,”

    he asserted.

    Husband Believed His Wife Cheated And Arranged A Paternity Test For Their Child – It Happens To Be That Neither Of Them Is The Parent

    A couple, who wishes to keep their identity private, has sued the hospital that birth their baby after finding out 5 years later that their child was not theirs, Your Tango reported. 

    The bizarre story, shared on Twitter by user Saint Zoe (@Jupinapapi3), has garnered over 5 million views and 2k comments. The father allegedly asked his wife for a paternity test after having suspicions about her fidelity. After taking the test the man found that he was not the father however, the wife insisted that she did not cheat. The wife, standing strong in her truth, decided decided to take a maternity test herself only to find that she wasn’t the mother either. With the only culprit being the hospital, the couple went ahead and pursued a lawsuit against the clinic for switching their child at birth.

    In an update posted to Instagram and later shared on Twitter by Zoe, the parents were able to find their biological child. The woman who delivered the update wrote,

    “They found their biological daughter, she was in foster care.”

    Allegedly the family, whose child they had, was incompetent to care for their child, and their biological daughter was placed in child protective services. 

    “As crazy as it sounds, they have to now adopt their biological child (which they are in the process of doing),”

    she continued.

    “They are also keeping the nonbiological child as well.”

    As for the lawsuit, the couple was awarded $2 million for the hospital’s negligence. The couple has decided to

    “stay together”

    through the entire ordeal and the husband has 

    “apologized to [his wife] for ever doubting her,”

    the woman wrote.

    Teen Convicted Of Murdering Police Captain’s Husband, According To Reports

    A 19-year-old Baltimore, Maryland man was convicted Monday of the second-degree murder of a city police officer’s husband, according to court documents obtained by Fox News. 

    Sahiou Kargbo, 19, is accused of fatally shooting James Blue III, the husband of Baltimore Police Capt. Lekeshia Blue. Officials connected Kargbo to the crime through surveillance footage and witness reports, charging documents state. The teen was 18 and in high school at the time of the crime. 

    Kargbo was convicted in February 2022 for the fatal shooting. According to CBS station WBAL, which covered the trial, said Kargbo’s defense attorney claimed that the teen is

    “intellectually disabled with a fourth-grade reading level,”

    and that his client was overcharged and

    “investigated aggressively,”

    due to the victim’s wife being a high-ranking officer. Kargbo also took the stand in his defense to which he told the jury

    “the gun did the work by itself.”

    Kargbo reportedly shot Blue 10 times from behind. He was found guilty of second-degree murder along with three firearms charges, reports state.

    Former Police Detective Sentenced For Fatally Shooting Woman She Caught With Her Boyfriend

    A former Birmingham police detective will be spending the rest of her life behind bars after being convicted of killing a woman who had a romantic relationship with her longtime boyfriend, per Fox News.

    A judge sentenced Alfreda Fluker on Monday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of 43-year-old Kanisha Nicole Fuller and the attempted murder of Mario Theodore White, who was Fluker’s police partner and boyfriend at the time. 

    According to court records obtained by Al.com, back in 2020 Fluker had caught Fuller and White together in White’s unmarked police vehicle and began to empty her service weapon into the vehicle killing Fuller and injuring White. Fluker was taken off the Birmingham Police Department and convicted of capital murder in November. 

    Fluker was a 15-year veteran at the department. She had been dating White for several years and the two reportedly lived together since 2016.

    The man promised to return the $10,000 to his girlfriend after he won but to his amazement, he gained even more than he imagined. Winning 100 million Nigerian dollars, the man shared the exciting news with his lady but instead of giving her a fair share of the money he had stolen, he gave her back exactly $10,000. Furious by his empty gesture, the woman demanded the boyfriend give her $40 million from his jackpot but the man says he has other plans for his money. He claims he will be using most of the money to

    “grow his business.”

    After many threats from his girlfriend saying she would leave him, he decided to give her 5 million however, she is still standing on her original request of 40 million. Now the man is looking for advice on whether he wants to be financially wealthy or stay with the love of his life. One user suggested he,

    “give her 10mil to buy [your] freedom and move on.”

    A 19-year-old woman is accusing her adoptive parents of locking her inside a

    “basement dungeon room”

    for

    “most of her childhood,”

    according to the Miami Herald. 

    Olivia Atkocaitis was adopted from China when she was a baby in 2004 by New Hampshire couple Denise and Thomas Atkocaitis. The now, 19-year-old claims her adoptive parents kept her in a filthy

    “basement dungeon room”

    where they abused, isolated, starved, and forced her into involuntary servitude. 

    According to court documents obtained by Miami Herald,

    “Her parents imprisoned her in a dungeon basement room… They forced her to act as their personal servant. They subjected her to punitive manual labor. They isolated her. They withheld a public education from her. They starved her and beat her. They hurled the most vile, racial epithets at her. They withheld necessary healthcare from her. They failed to confirm her status as a US citizen and threatened her with terror, including extradition.”

    Miraculously, in 2018 Atkocaitis who was 15 at the time dug her way through the walls of the

    “basement prison,”

    escaping to a nearby woods. 

    She has now filed a lawsuit against her adoptive parents, New Boston, its police department, the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, its child protective services agency, and a nonprofit international adoption agency, claiming that they were

    “aware of, and perpetuated (her) suffering.”

    Texas Science Lab Raised Over $225M To Bring Back Woolly Mammoths And Dodo Birds

    Scientists are attempting to bring back the extinct species of the Dodo bird and the Woolly Mammoth according to Smithsonian Magazine. 

    Colossal Biosciences, a biotechnology company based in Austin, Texas, has spent over a year studying the recreation of the dodo, the woolly mammoth, and the Tasmanian tiger and has since raised $225 million for its efforts. 

    Colossal founder Ben Lamm told Vice,

    “I think this is an opportunity where, given the man-made nature of the extinction of the dodo, man could not only bring the dodo back but also fix what was done to parts of the ecosystem to reintroduce them.” 

    The flightless bird and the mammoth have been extinct for centuries due to natural phenomena like climate change, vegetation shortage, loss of their natural habit, and the role of human activity. However, scientist believe they have the tools to de-extinct the animals. Not quite like before but more of a

    duplication for that matter. Ben Lamm and his team of 40 scientists plan on

    “editing the genes from the Nicobar pigeon, the dodo’s closest living relative,”

    reports state.

    According to Beth Shapiro, the lead paleogeneticist at Colossal, the team have already successfully

    “sequenced”

    the extinct birds DNA by using their original gene codes. Next, they plan on removing the germ cells from an egg of a pigeon, alter the genes to make them more

    “dodo-like”

    then implant the cells back into a pigeon egg, Shapiro told CNN’s Katie Hunt. The new modifications are supposed to help the bird withstand today’s climate.

    USDA Recalls 2.58M Pounds Of Canned Meat And Sausage Under Goya, Kroger, And Other Brands

    Conagra Brands has recalled nearly 2.6 million pounds of its canned Vienna sausage and chicken products because of packaging issues that could cause contamination without consumers realizing it, per the NY Post.

    The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service confirmed Tuesday that products manufactured between Dec. 12, 2022, and Jan. 13, 2023, from brands including Goya, Kroger and Great Value may have damaged cans that could cause foodborne pathogens to enter.

    “The cans subject to recall may have been damaged in a manner that is not readily apparent to consumers, which may allow foodborne pathogens to enter the cans,”

    the USDA said in a statement.

    The government is asking customers who’ve recently purchased such items to check cans for a lot number, P4247. Several of those can products have already been shipped to retail stores nationwide and fall under the recall.

    The agency also announced Tuesday that they have not received any reports of illness from the recall but explained that symptoms of eating contaminated meat may come days later. Those symptoms may include, vomiting, nausea, headaches, diarrhea, and stomach cramps, reports note.

    Police have captured Italian mafia killer, Edgardo Greco who disguised himself as a pizza chef in France, after more than 16 years on the run, Interpol said per Insider. 

    The 63-year-old is said to be affiliated with ‘Ndrangheta, an organized crime mob that originated in Italy’s Calabria region and now carries a presence worldwide. It is known as the most powerful mafia in Italy and is responsible for moving cocaine across Europe. 

    Greco reportedly escaped temporary police custody in 2006 after an arrest warrant was issued for the death of two brothers who were killed during a

    “mafia war”

    between two gangs in the early 1990s. According to BBC News, Stefano, and Giuseppe Bartolomeo, were beaten to death in January 1991 however, their bodies were never found. Authorities suspect their bodies were dissolved in acid. Greco is also accused of the attempted murder of another man that same year. 

    Greco later found himself in the French city of Saint-Étienne where he went by the name Paolo Dimitrio. The new reformed pizza chef, confident in his new identity, appeared in a local newspaper in July 2021, to talk about his restaurant Caffe Rossini Ristorante. 

    The fugitive was arrested Thursday in Saint-Etienne, France. Italy’s Carabinieri military police said in a statement that since 2019, investigators had been tracking Greco through a support network, which eventually led them to his arrest in Saint-Étienne.
