Probation Office Employee Allegedly Assisteed Son Accused Of Murder In Evading Police, Hiding Him In Backseat Under Sunshade

According to prosecutors, a California probation office employee, Carla White, allegedly assisted in hiding her son after he allegedly killed a man, per Law & Crime

The incident occurred on November 13th in El Cajon, when 27-year-old Javier Medina was found with gunshot wounds and later pronounced dead at the hospital. Hunter White and Kristian Wolf were arrested for murder and attempted murder, while Carla White was charged with being an accessory after the fact and unauthorized furnishing of records or information.

Carla White, who works as a senior office assistant with the San Diego County Probation Department, reportedly went to the crime scene and hid her son in the back seat under a sunshade. She also tipped off her son about the police search after seeing a confidential flyer through her job. The motive and relationship between the suspects and the victim have not been disclosed by authorities.

“Any time that a person who is a suspect to a serious crime has a tipoff in advance that they are a suspect, it could give any person a chance to take steps to conceal aspects of the crime or to flee from the area,”

Deputy District Attorney Drew Garrison from San Diego County expressed.

“I think the public generally expects that their public servants will uphold their duties and oaths, and it’s important as an office that the district attorney’s office seeks to hold people accountable for the actions that they’ve taken,”

    Garrison told NBC 7.

Hunter White and Wolf are currently in jail at the San Diego County Jail without bail, while Carla White has been released on bail. The defendants are set to appear in court on February 28th for their hearing.

  • Nurse Caught On Video Swapping Out Opioids Vials with Saline Solution and Self-Administering Fentanyl During Work, Claims She’s ‘Hearing Voices’

Nurse Caught On Video Swapping Out Opioids Vials with Saline Solution and Self-Administering Fentanyl During Work, Claims She’s ‘Hearing Voices’

A nurse in Houston, Texas, has been fired from her job following allegations that she stole opioids from an automated dispenser at the hospital, reports Law & Crime. The nurse, Alexis Joann McNeilly, allegedly replaced the drug vials with saline solution and even injected herself with fentanyl while on duty.

Between March and May 2023, McNielly was accused of diverting hydromorphone and fentanyl from a hospital vending machine for personal use. The incidents were discovered during a routine inventory check by a fellow nurse. The nurse also allegedly tampered with syringes and vials, replacing opioids with saline.

Houston law enforcement received a notification from an FDA agent on May 25 regarding the case. Five days later, the hospital’s pharmacy manager confirmed after an inventory audit that McNeilly

“dispensed medication that was not prescribed by the attending physician”

    and put

    “adulterated medicine […] in circulation”

    that had the

“potential to be administered by other medical professionals to patients, unaware that the medicine had been tampered with.”

In April, surveillance video caught McNeilly injecting herself

“in the hand with the fentanyl syringe before returning to work,”

    authorities further alleged.

“I hear voices telling me what to do,”

the defendant allegedly explained, after being confronted by the hospital’s nursing director.

“When the defendant was confronted about this incident, the defendant admitted to taking meds… She explained that she is under extreme personal stress and that she took the meds to help deal with her anxiety,”

    documents said.

“The hospital had the defendant take a drug test. The drug test came back positive for Morphine, Hydromorphone, and Marijuana.”

McNeilly was fired from the hospital and arrested at her home the day after Christmas. She was later released on bond under the conditions that she be electronically monitored, wear a drug patch, and have a curfew that begins at 7 p.m. and ends at 7 a.m. the next day.

Teens Assaulted By Friend’s Mother, Who Is Also Parental Rights Activist, During A Chaotic ‘Alcohol-Fueled’ Birthday Party

A Pennsylvania politician who advocated for

    “parental rights”

in education is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a teenager during a boozy affair she hosted for her underage daughter’s birthday, Law & Crime reported.

Clarice Schillinger, 36, is accused of assault, harassment, and providing alcohol to a minor, as stated in court records. The incident reportedly occurred during a basement birthday party for Schillinger’s 17-year-old daughter in September. Police responded to a call at around 3 a.m. on September 30th at Schillinger’s residence which she had been renting since early 2023.

According to a probable cause affidavit, approximately 15-20 minors between the ages of 15 and 18 were at the party, which had started around 10 p.m. the previous night.

“In the basement was a bar area that was stocked with alcoholic beverages to include New Amsterdam vodka and Malibu Bay Breeze rum,”

    the affidavit says.

“Schillinger not only provided the alcoholic beverages, but poured shots and drank along with the minors, even participating in drinking games.”

One of the party-going teenagers reported that an altercation between the adults occurred in the early hours.

“Schillinger’s intoxicated boyfriend (Shan Wilson) had punched a 15-year-old juvenile (identified as E.G.) in the face, causing her to escort her boyfriend upstairs to the second floor,”

a teen identified by the initials A.M. told police.

The violence was captured on several cell phone videos.

According to the affidavit, this isn’t the first underage drinking party Schillinger has had.

Schillinger, a member of the Republican party, made an unsuccessful bid for the position of lieutenant governor in the Keystone State. Unfortunately, she came in fourth place in the primary election. Her lawyer said in a statement,

“Ms. Schillinger has dedicated her life to public service…”

    and

  • Eminem Files Protective Order Against Gizelle Bryant & Robyn Dixon To Avoid Court Appearance In Ongoing Trademark Dispute

Eminem Files Protective Order Against Gizelle Bryant & Robyn Dixon To Avoid Court Appearance In Ongoing Trademark Dispute

Renowned rapper Eminem has taken legal action by filing a protective order against the popular Real Housewives of Potomac stars, Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon. This move comes amidst an ongoing trademark dispute. While Eminem desires to safeguard the rights to his iconic alter ego, he has opted to maintain a low-key presence and refrain from having to show his face in court.

In recent news, musician Eminem has taken legal action to avoid appearing personally in court for a case involving the reality stars. The dispute was intiated when Eminem opposed the trademark filing of the stars’ podcast,

    “Reasonably Shady,”

citing potential confusion with his alias, Slim Shady. Despite attempts to dismiss the case by Dixon and Bryant, a judge ruled in favor of proceeding.

Eminem, in his request for a protective order, stated that attending the court proceedings would be

    “unduly burdensome”

    due to his

“limited knowledge of the subjects at issue.”

Instead, he requested his attorneys to represent him, as they possess the necessary expertise. The reality stars had motioned for Eminem’s deposition and questioning under oath.

Their lawyers reportedly issued a statement after his latest filing, stating,

“The main issue now is that Mathers is refusing to be deposed. Mathers is the owner of the marks at issue and his attorneys are saying he doesn’t have information about the marks. We have filed a motion to compel Mathers to be deposed. It seems obvious to us that if you file a lawsuit, you should be made available to be deposed,”

    They went on to add,

“It’s unclear to us that Mathers can be the owner of the trademarks and file this suit against our clients but he will not make himself available to be deposed,”

At present, there is no ruling from the judge on the matter.

  • Florida Mother Of 5 Accused Of Fatally Shooting Ex’s New Girlfriend At Walgreens Parking Lot On Christmas During Child Custody Handover

Florida Mother Of 5 Accused Of Fatally Shooting Ex’s New Girlfriend At Walgreens Parking Lot On Christmas During Child Custody Handover

A Florida woman has been arrested after a planned child custody exchange turned violent outside a Walgreens on Christmas Day, reports Law & Crime. The incident left the baby’s father injured and another woman shot dead.

Amanda Marie Janzen, 38, who is a mother of five, is facing charges of premeditated murder and child neglect, according to court records. Janzen and the male victim have an 11-month-old child together. A family court had ordered them to split custody, and Janzen was supposed to hand over the child in front of a Walgreens store.

On the day of the exchange, Janzen allegedly arrived at the pharmacy with all five of her children in the vehicle. Before the exchange, she allegedly gave her oldest son her SNAP benefits card, debit card, and instructions to pay a cellular phone bill. The boy allegedly said he

    “had never done this before,”

    according to the arrest report.

Janzen arrived at the scene first and reportedly pulled out a gun from her bag while sitting in her vehicle. She

    “cocked”

the gun and waited. When the couple arrived, the baby’s father got out of his girlfriend’s vehicle, and Janzen, with the gun hidden behind her back, approached the woman who was still in the driver’s seat, and fired three shots, killing the female victim. Janzen then searched for the child’s father, who had jumped back into the passenger seat, shooting him three times as well. Janzen allegedly shouted,

    “You made this happen,”

    as she fired at him.

    Suspect Flees The Scene

A nearby police officer heard the gunshots and witnessed Janzen’s car fleeing the scene. The officer began pursuing the vehicle, and soon other law enforcement officers joined in a 13-mile chase. During the pursuit, Janzen called 911 and admitted to the shooting, stating that she was being followed by the police. The arrest report states that all five children were still in the car, pleading for their mother to stop as she led officers on a high-speed chase exceeding 100 mph.

Currently, she is being held in the Alachua County Jail on a $2 million bond. A public defender has been appointed to represent her.
