Man Arrested After Killing Sex Offender, Said Police Were Not Doing Enough

A 24-year-old man from Alvin, Texas, is facing a murder charge after allegedly posing as a minor to lure and kill a sex offender, according to court records per ABC Houston. James Lewis Spencer III was arrested on January 31, following an incident where an unresponsive man was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a ditch.

The victim, identified as a 37-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigation revealed that the victim believed he was meeting a minor for sexual activities. Cellphone records indicated that Spencer had posed as a minor and arranged the meeting, placing him at the crime scene.

The police confirmed that Spencer admitted to owning the phone number used for communication with the victim. Information about Spencer’s public defender is not currently available. Video shows a car driving up and someone firing

    “a string of rapid gunshots”

at the victim, police said. Spencer wanted to

“rob and harm those types of men because they would do bad things to little children,”

    a third party told police.

Spencer said he knew how to track people using a phone app, and

“if the cop were not going to do anything maybe he should kill them himself,”

records show. According to official documents cited by the station, the individual had a history of federal prison time for possessing child pornography, and failed to register as a sex offender.

Spencer’s bond has been set at $250,000, and a court appearance is scheduled for February 5th.

  • Texas Man Claims Walmart Mistook Him For Shoplifter, Demands $100 Million and A Lifetime Of Free Goods, Lawsuit Claims

Texas Man Claims Walmart Mistook Him For Shoplifter, Demands $100 Million and A Lifetime Of Free Goods, Lawsuit Claims

Roderick Jackson, a resident of Waskom, Texas, has filed a second lawsuit against Walmart for $100 million in compensation or unlimited free shopping at any Walmart store for the rest of his life, per the NY Post.

This recent complaint follows Jackson’s initial lawsuit, filed in 2021, which involved the same incident and circumstances as his current claim against the retail giant. The incident in question occurred at a Walmart store in Omaha, Nebraska, in March 2021. Jackson’s complaint states that he is suing Walmart due to

    “false pretense of shoplifting.”

    He also states he is

“sewing [sic] for Civil Rights violations based on race/color.”

Neither of the complaints went into further detail.

On top of the cash and shopping spree, Jackson is also demanding that Walmart foot the bill for all the legal fees tied to the lawsuit.

A Walmart spokesperson told Fox News Digital,

“We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. Mr. Jackson’s allegations are almost identical to a lawsuit he filed against our company in 2021 that was dismissed. We intend to defend the company against the allegations once we have been properly served and will quickly ask the court to dismiss any claim that are without merit,”

In the 2021 lawsuit, Jackson filed a complaint against Walmart, accusing them of

    “racial profiling and wrongful accusation”

that resulted in his arrest. According to the complaint, Jackson suffered

“emotional stress and pain from the handcuffs.”

Initially, Jackson asked for a whopping $100 million and

“a significant credit for future shopping,”

but later revised the complaint to seek $175 million in damages. However, the case was dismissed that year as Walmart argued that Jackson had not properly served them and his claims were baseless.

  • Nurse Caught On Video Swapping Out Opioids Vials with Saline Solution and Self-Administering Fentanyl During Work, Claims She’s ‘Hearing Voices’

Nurse Caught On Video Swapping Out Opioids Vials with Saline Solution and Self-Administering Fentanyl During Work, Claims She’s ‘Hearing Voices’

A nurse in Houston, Texas, has been fired from her job following allegations that she stole opioids from an automated dispenser at the hospital, reports Law & Crime. The nurse, Alexis Joann McNeilly, allegedly replaced the drug vials with saline solution and even injected herself with fentanyl while on duty.

Between March and May 2023, McNielly was accused of diverting hydromorphone and fentanyl from a hospital vending machine for personal use. The incidents were discovered during a routine inventory check by a fellow nurse. The nurse also allegedly tampered with syringes and vials, replacing opioids with saline.

Houston law enforcement received a notification from an FDA agent on May 25 regarding the case. Five days later, the hospital’s pharmacy manager confirmed after an inventory audit that McNeilly

“dispensed medication that was not prescribed by the attending physician”

    and put

    “adulterated medicine […] in circulation”

    that had the

“potential to be administered by other medical professionals to patients, unaware that the medicine had been tampered with.”

In April, surveillance video caught McNeilly injecting herself

“in the hand with the fentanyl syringe before returning to work,”

    authorities further alleged.

“I hear voices telling me what to do,”

the defendant allegedly explained, after being confronted by the hospital’s nursing director.

“When the defendant was confronted about this incident, the defendant admitted to taking meds… She explained that she is under extreme personal stress and that she took the meds to help deal with her anxiety,”

    documents said.

“The hospital had the defendant take a drug test. The drug test came back positive for Morphine, Hydromorphone, and Marijuana.”

McNeilly was fired from the hospital and arrested at her home the day after Christmas. She was later released on bond under the conditions that she be electronically monitored, wear a drug patch, and have a curfew that begins at 7 p.m. and ends at 7 a.m. the next day.

These details were revealed by Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar, who stated that the pair had initially connected on the website SeekingArrangement.com.

Teen Confesses To Unexpectedly Punching Random Individuals At A Texas Park To Go Viral On Social Media

Alford Lewis, a 19-year-old from Texas, has confessed to engaging in unprovoked attacks on innocent individuals in public places, all in a bid to gain attention on social media, per the NY Post

Lewis stated that he deeply regrets his actions and acknowledges that he made a grave error in judgment. Following the release of a disturbing video capturing Lewis assaulting at least two people as they enjoyed their time at Wortham Park in Houston, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into these violent incidents.

The video quickly spread on social media platforms and the neighborhood watch app Nextdoor, prompting outrage and concern among regular park-goers who demanded swift action against the perpetrator. Lewis has since come forward to apologize for his offenses.

“You know, I just made a mistake and everybody makes mistakes,”

“I really didn’t expect for it to go so left, you know,”

    he said.

In the now-viral video, none of the victims appear to retaliate or defend themselves against the teenager’s attacks, instead appearing startled by the sudden hit. Lewis has emphasized that the video only captures the negative aspect of his actions and fails to depict the aftermath.

“What people don’t see is that I shook his hand after and gave the man a hug,”
