Lil Durk’s lawyers are arguing that he is not a flight risk and are calling for his release on bond. They are presenting a new bail package worth over $2 million. This includes $1 million in cash, $900,000 in real estate, and $150,000 from a friend. They also offer 24/7 armed security and electronic monitoring to argue that he is not a flight risk.

    Per Complex, Lil Durk’s attorneys are pushing for the murder-for-hire case to be thrown out or for bond. They argued that the prosecution used “unfair” and “misleading” evidence to secure an indictment for their client. Lil Durk has also long denied the claims in a previous statement. He declared that he wrote the lyrics months before Robinson’s death, making it impossible for them to refer to the incident.

    Durk is implicated in the murder of Saviay’a Robinson, a relative of Quando Rondo, with whom Durk has a feud. In the motions filed on April 18, prosecutors argued that Durk tried to profit off Robinson’s murder, using Wonderful Wayne and Jackie Boy as evidence. They have also presented new evidence to support their claims and prevent Lil Durk from being granted a bond.

    Prosecutors shared an unreleased Lil Durk track titled Scoom His A**, which they claim to have gotten from a co-defendant’s phone. According to Complex, the April 28 documents claim that the song supports the rapper’s alleged murderous intent. They insisted the evidence was genuine and warned against granting Lil Durk bond, saying he was still a flight risk or potential danger.

    Authorities arrested Lil Durk in October 2024 while he was attempting to flee to Italy. A grand jury indicted him for murder-for-hire charges in the  2022 killing of Saviay’a Robinson. Prosecutors allege that Quando Rondo was the intended target, but his cousin, Robinson, got hit instead. They claim the shooting was in retaliation for the murder of Durk’s associate, King Von, by someone connected to Rondo. They also allege that Durk paid the bounty through his OTF label to avoid detection.

She revealed earlier this month that she and her ex are expecting a girl. “GIRL MOM,” she captioned several maternity shoot pictures.

    The majority sided with Coi Leray after Trippie Redd informed fans he was not welcome at her baby shower. They said Leray made the right decision by asking him to stay away. Someone said, “Baby we don’t care and we don’t think you should be there either, next.”

    Airyn De Niro, the daughter of Robert De Niro, has shared her journey of coming out as a trans woman in an exclusive interview with Them. 

    The 29-year-old, who identifies with she/her pronouns, expressed that “a big part of [my transition] is also the influence Black women have had on me,” in the interview released on Tuesday. “I think stepping into this new identity, while also being more proud of my Blackness, makes me feel closer to them in some way.”

    Airyn, the daughter of De Niro and actress Toukie Smith, began hormone therapy in November 2024 and considers herself a “late bloomer.” She shared with the outlet that witnessing other trans women share their stories and achievements helped her understand that it was “not too late” for her to embark on her own journey. Airyn, who was born Aaron, said her family responded well to the news and embraced her “queerness” when she first came out as a gay man in high school.

    Nevertheless, she still worries they may perceive her as the same person she was before her transition. “I sort of stood out like a sore thumb and there wasn’t anybody in my family that could relate to that experience,” she said.

    “I was always told I was too much of something or not enough of something growing up: Too big, not skinny enough. Not Black enough, not white enough. Too feminine, not masculine enough,” Airyn continued.

    Airyn shared with Them that she is pursuing a career as an actress and model, following in her mother’s footsteps, with the aim of being an “inspiration for at least one other person like [her] who is Black, who is queer, who’s not a size extra small.” Robert, 81, welcomed Airyn and her twin brother, Julian Henry De Niro, with his then-girlfriend Smith, 72, in 1995.

He revealed that despite bringing Sharpe to the network, he won’t make the final decision on whether he gets to stay. However, he disclosed that he and ESPN executives have been working behind the scenes to discuss further steps. Shannon Sharpe announced he would step down from his duties at ESPN after news of his lawsuit went viral.

    Jackson said, “I can tell you I also spoke to co-chairman of Disney, the boss, Jimmy Pitaro, who made it very, very clear that ESPN is taking this matter very seriously and we are looking into this very, very, closely and once we gather as many facts as we possibly can, we will go from there.”

    Jackson said this after telling viewers during his YouTube broadcast on Tuesday, according to Yahoo, “I recruited Shannon, but I’m not the boss.
