    Ja Morant ran into trouble with the NBA on Tuesday night after he made a finger-gun gesture while playing. In the footage Onsite posted, he gestured toward the Warriors bench during the game. Afterward, ESPN stablemate Shams Charania reported on X that the association was investigating the incident. “The NBA is looking into Memphis’ Ja Morant using finger gun motions toward the Golden State Warriors bench last night, sources tell me and @espn_macmahon,” he wrote.

    Stephen A. Smith, who is never scared to express his thoughts, reacted once he caught wind of the situation. He defended Ja Morant and asserted that the NBA was unnecessarily blowing up the finger gun gesture. “Come on @NBA — and the rest of us. Totally unnecessary. Let @JaMorant play in peace. Let’s not look for things. The playoffs are about to begin. Let’s enjoy the games. Morant didn’t do anything flagrant. Folks are reaching now,” The ESPN analyst wrote, per Onsite. The Grizzlies lost to the Golden State Warriors, led by Stephen Curry, 134-125.

    While Ja Morant isn’t the first person to make the finger gun gesture, his previous history likely aggravated the situation. He has been suspended twice during his career for brandishing guns online. He received the first punishment, an eight-game suspension for flashing his gun during an Instagram Live. The second time, he got a 25-game suspension for brandishing the weapon in his car. It remains to be seen how this latest investigation will impact him.

    The Grizzlies’ attempt to make the playoffs could be impacted if Ja Morant is suspended for the finger gun gesture. They are tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves for sixth place in the Western Conference. The team is half a game behind the Warriors, who are in fifth place and half ahead of the LA Clippers. Thus, Morant’s suspension could throw them off the curve depending on if he gets one and how long it lasts. Meanwhile, Charania also noted on X that Buddy Hield is being investigated for the same gesture.

    Fans React To News Of The NBA’s Investigation

    Fans have sided with Ja Morant after learning about the finger gun gesture investigation. They shared clips of other players who gestured likewise, including one of Dyson Daniels, who aimed at the Pelicans bench after a 3-pointer. Another person shared a clip of LeBron James pretending to fire a gun into the air and reloading it. He was still with the Cleveland Cavaliers at the time. Meanwhile, other fans reacted on Onsite’s page and asked why the NBA targeted Ja Morant alone for the gesture.

Police arrested the Zeus Baddies star a day after releasing the 911 calls related to the incident. Spence called to report a violent attack on a woman in the presence of a child and several gunshots. Young Scooter, born Kenneth Edward Rashaad Bailey, died after reportedly fleeing from officers responding to the call.

    Demetria Spence Arrested After Young Scooter’s Death

    Atlanta Police has arrested and charged Demetria Spence with raising a false alarm that led to Young Scooter’s death. After a four-day search, they took the ZeusBaddies star into custody at the Fulton County Jail. Onsite obtained the Atlanta Police Department’s statement about the arrest, which read:

    “On April 1st, 2025, 31-year-old Demetria Spence was taken into custody by the Atlanta Police Department and charged with transmitting a False Public Alarm under O.C.G.A. 16-10-28, subsection (d)(2) ‘If serious bodily harm or death results from the response of a public safety agency.’ Ms. Spence was wanted for her involvement in making a false 911 call regarding a person injured/deceased incident that occurred at 273 William Nye Drive SE on March 28th, 2025.

    Authorities announced Spence’s arrest shortly after the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed the preliminary cause of Young Scooter’s death. However, Her motives for calling 911 are currently unknown.

    Demetria Spence’s 911 Call Released

    Police released the 911 call that led to Young Scooter’s death the day before Demetria Spence’s arrest. Per FOX 5, the caller alleged physical assault on a woman at 273 William Nye Drive South East Atlanta. “He’s beating her bloody. He’s dragged her back in the house,” she said, describing herself as part of a neighborhood watch. “There was literally a shooting… literally the neighbors next door, the house of the address that I just gave you, the 273. There is literally a whole domestic dispute going on.”

    “There’s like seven guys that live in this house,” she continued. The caller also claimed several armed men were inside the house. She added that they were involved in potential drug activity and possible sex trafficking. The caller described the victim as a light-skinned female with black hair, approximately 5-foot-3 and 130 pounds, who was forced back into the house.

    “She ran outside naked, and then he was fighting her outside. She tried to get away. He dragged her back in the house… she’s being held hostage…This situation is really serious, and he’s punching her. If you guys don’t get here, she’s going to be really hurt.” the caller continued, adding that she heard three gunshots. “They’re definitely doing illegal stuff over there, and it’s disturbing the area,” she told 911. “You guys need to hurry and get here before she… doesn’t make it,” she concluded.

    Demetria Spence Lies About 911 Call

    Meanwhile, Demetria Spence has switched her statement about the 911 call that contributed to Young Scooter’s death. She was not physically present at the incident scene and initially reported someone else as the victim. However, after Young Scooter’s death, Spence claimed to be the victim. She said those who thought she set the rapper up misunderstood her, and she only called to save her life.

    “I’m giving you what led up to the call. I was physically abused, so I called to protect myself. That’s the issue; that’s part A. I never had any intentions to get anybody hurt. I was the one that was getting hurt, and I came here to say my truth. That’s it. That’s all; I don’t want no clout…At the end of the day, I’m a woman, and I was physically abused multiple times,” the reality TV star said.

    Young Sccoter’s Death Under Investigation

    Atlanta Police are also investigating the Young Scooter’s death. The rapper died at 39 after he reportedly ran from officers who responded to Demetria Spence’s 911 call. A man reportedly opened the door briefly after officers knocked at the house before closing it immediately. Police also surrounded the home while two people tried to run.

    Officers identified the man who jumped two fences and was found injured nearby as Young Scooter. They took him to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died. Preliminary reports stated that the injuries led to Young Scooter’s death.

In the meantime, the court has ruled that Karlie Redd should receive $18k in child support temporarily.

    The court has ordered Teleau Belton, Karlie Redd’s spouse to pay her temporary child support. According to legal documents obtained and shared by Onsite, the payment timeline kicked in on March 15. It will continue until the 15th of every month until the court reviews it. Judge Kelly Lee Ellerbe delivered this judgment after a March 13, 2025, hearing in Fulton County, Georgia. Belton will pay Karlie Redd child support worth $18,537.50 and “stay away from and have no contact” with her.

    Meanwhile, Belton, founder of NowThatsTV, has filed for divorce from Redd, whom he married last year. Redd announced their engagement last year at her single release party in June. She announced their marriage three months later, in September. The couple filed for divorce sex months afterward.

    Karlie Redd And Estranged Husband Involved In Domestic Violence Case

    The order to pay Karlie Redd $18k in child support followed Teleau Belton’s arrest for domestic violence. Redd called the police after the TV network founder hit her following a dispute between them. She said she didn’t plan to inform authorities about the incident, but her lawyer encouraged her to do so. The incident happened on February 21 this year when Belton hit the Love & Hip Hop star in the chin. Officers took him into custody on a charge of simple battery – family violence.

    According to documents linked to the divorce, the couple’s altercation happened after Belton came home late and Redd confronted him. He also accused her of coming home late. Belton struck Redd when she asked him where she was going after he tried to leave the room. He also threw her two cell phones on the ground, an action he apologized for, per the arrest affidavit. The rapper reported feeling “slight soreness” in her chin after the attack.

    Teleau Belton Released on Bond

    Teleau Belton’s arrest affidavit noted that there was a “brief scuffle due to noncompliance” as Belton initially resisted arrest. It stated that Belton needed to be “assisted to the ground” to be handcuffed. His assistant collected his belongings after the arrest.

    The arrest report, which Onsite obtained and posted, read, “Mr. Belton advised that he wanted his diamond chain with a diamond pendant, diamond Rolex watch, $300 cell phone, Carmex lip balm, headphones, documents, and vehicle to be released to his assistant. Authorities released Teleau Belton on February 25 after he posted a $2,000 bond for the incident.

    It is not clear what stage the couple is in their divorce proceedings. However, the child support payment to Karlie Redd signifies that the model and her estranged spouse have ruled out reconciliation.

She said Mama Smurf brought her to the hospital and left after a while.

She also said he ignored her requests to connect with her half-sister, whom the Pan-African activist shares with his second baby mama. Moriah Mills said of the BBL allegations. She added, “No, I didn’t go on a surgery table. I literally just gained a few pounds over the last six months. You guys haven’t seen me post like this in the last six months. I have not been on no surgery table.”

During the conversation, Dr. Fontenot asked her guest what he would do if faced with a dilemma. She claimed the biblical way of viewing relationships is different, saying, “the way that you show up in your relationship, how you show up for your partner, the things that you go through, and how you grow through the things that life throws at you is completely different than when you’re just married.” Building on that, the actress then asked Wacka Flocka to choose between saving his drowning wife or child.

    The New York native didn’t hesitate to pick and even answered before Dr. Fontenot could complete the question. “My wife,” he responded quickly. His host pressed on, asking him if he would save his wife over his young child. “Hell yeah!” he reiterated.     After listening to Wacka Flocka choose his wife, Dr. Fontenot told him she shared the same view. She had said in an interview earlier this month that she would save her husband over her drowning child. However, she faced a lot of backlash. The podcast host told her guest that she “got thousands of comments of people saying, ‘That’s cuz you’ve never been a mother, you’ve never given birth yet. Oh, and he’s going to divorce you in three seconds.” She opined that those who held that notion were dealing with trauma. “Imagine if you treated your spouse with that level of regard, respect,” she told Flocka.

    However, Flocka cut her off and told her she shouldn’t be concerned about people’s opinions. He said, “You know how much power you could have gained just by saying ‘That’s your opinion.
